I'm working on something that just few short years ago I knew nothing about, and I now am completely captivated by it. It is the art of doing gourds. When I first saw some gourds in a friends private collection, I thought, I have to do this. I plunged right into carving and painting my very first gourd. The gourd shown here is an example of a work in progress.
